Career Center

The University Career Center maintains an office in Glass Hall to serve students, alumni and employers. This convenient location allows COB students and alumni easy access to Career Center staff that assist with career counseling, internship and full-time job searches, and vocational and educational information. The Career Center staff work closely with employers seeking business students to facilitate both on- and off-campus interviews.

For COB students, it’s never too early to take advantage of the services offered through the Career Center. When considering a career path or major the Career Center staff can provide Career Counseling and Major Exploration. Annual programs on writing resumes and/or job-search letters, interviewing, and job search strategies prepare students for career success. As students get further into their program of study the Career Center can assist in the search for internship and cooperative education opportunities. Later, as graduation approaches or alums seek new opportunities, the Career Center staff can assist with full-time job searches.

Many employers contact the Career Center to obtain resumes of qualified Missouri State students and graduates for temporary (e.g., internships and cooperative education) and permanent positions. Throughout the year resumes of students and alumni who are registered with the Career Center and who match the employers’ specified qualifications are provided to employers.
