Biography

Bill Perry recently retired as a Partner and Global Managing Director at Accenture, a global management consulting, technology, and outsourcing firm with more than 720,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries. Combining experience and specialized skills across more than 40 industries and all business functions, Accenture works at the intersection of business and technology to help clients improve their performance and create sustainable value for their stakeholders.

Over the past 32 years, Perry has enjoyed ~$200 billion of business transaction experience; first for EDS Corporation and then for Accenture. With technical services industry experience in more than 35 countries, in his last role, he had C.O.O. responsibilities for Business Performance within Accenture’s $12 billion Operations Service Group.

He earned a degree in marketing from Missouri State University in 1984; completed the Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business Executive Bank MBA program in 1991 and Arizona State University’s Thunderbird Executive MBA program in 1999. As a distinguished military graduate, Perry received a regular Army commission as a member of MSU’s Military Science ROTC program. Military parachutist/airborne qualified, he served four and one-half years of active service, leaving in 1988 at the rank of Captain. An MSU Executive in Residence, Perry has lectured in various COB undergraduate and graduate classes. In addition, Perry has also lectured in Baylor University’s Hankamer’s School of Business undergraduate and graduate classes. In 2012, Bill was inducted into the MSU ROTC Bear Battalion Hall of Fame; in 2016 he became a recipient of the MSU COB Golden Bear Award.

Bill and his wife Heather live in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Their daughter Sophie is attending the University of Oklahoma.
