Biography
Jon Baker began his career at Procter and Gamble in sales and marketing. He has served as President of Noble Communications during which the company grew fourfold to become a top 100 U.S. marketing services firm. He was Division Chairman of Earle Palmer Brown, one of the largest ad agencies in the world serving clients like Marriott, US Air, Klondike, BMW and other leading brands. Jon started and sold Baker McCormick Group, a leadership consulting firm which did C-level coaching, strategic planning, and leadership development for companies like Anheuser Busch, Sprint, Arby’s, and others. The firm also did turnarounds resulting in ownership of a small manufacturing company. One of those companies eventually went public on the AMEX while Jon was CEO.
He is recently retired as Chief Operating Officer of Wiese USA, one of North America’s largest material handling distributors with 36 locations. Since stepping down as COO, Jon has transitioned to a Board role with Wiese. He is also on the boards of CTA Corporation and The Marlin Network. Jon has been married for 37 years to Jo and they work with inner city youth in a mentoring capacity….one of his mentorees is currently a student at Missouri State.
