Biography
Jonathan Andrews recently retired as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Learning at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Springfield, MO. His responsibilities included team member relations, benefits and compensation management, succession planning, talent acquisition and retention, and field HR leadership. In addition, Jonathan had responsibility for the learning function at O'Reilly ensuring the company's 90,000 plus team members were well educated in automotive technology and its customer service culture.
Prior to his experience at O'Reilly Auto Parts, he served as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Central Region of AutoNation, Inc. The company is the largest publicly traded automotive retailer in the country. In this role, he had human resource responsibilities for 60 automotive dealerships covering a geographic base of 10 states. While at AutoNation, he served not only in his HR capacity but was also involved in the operational excellence of AutoNation's dealership assets ensuring outstanding financial performance.
Prior to AutoNation, Inc., Jonathan served in a Regional Complex HR Manager role with Tyson Foods. He oversaw all aspects of HR and Training for associates working within Tyson's food processing operations in Georgia. Prior to Tyson, Jonathan also served in various HR roles with Cargill, Inc. Cargill is one of the largest food conglomerate companies in the world. He served in various field and corporate HR roles while employed there.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Loyola University of the South. He received an MBA in Human Resource Management, with an emphasis in labor relations, from Auburn University.
Jonathan enjoys traveling and golf. In addition, he is active guiding and raising his four children.
