Mike Green

Mike is currently Chief Information Security Office (CISO) of Trellix, a global cybersecurity protection services company with over 50,000 global business and government customers.  Mike has 35+ years of cyber, compliance, governance and technology experience within multiple global industries. 

Mike recently has been CISO at Ameren in the Power and Utility industry where he built a cyber organization of 120+ cyber professionals across Operations Technologies, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Cyber Operations, Attack Simulation and Identity and Access Management. His role also included industry leadership and advocacy roles for critical infrastructure/utility sector specific to evolving threat landscape leading to creation and adoption of industry cyber best practices.

Mike also was Deputy CISO at Express Scripts and Cigna in the Healthcare industry where he implemented and evolved Cyber Engineering, Threat Management, Attack Simulation and Identity/Authentication functions.

Mike spent 16 years at MasterCard as Senior Vice President of Global Compliance within the financial sector managing cyber security and fraud teams supporting global customers. As the SVP of Information Security Engineering & Cyber Security Operations, he helped establish the first Security Engineering, Cyber Operations and Governance functions pre-IPO for Mastercard which included evolution of global network security, 3rd party due diligence, incident response, customer identity and integration of Europe PKI and key management operations into global organization.

He also represented MasterCard on the inaugural Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council sitting on the Executive Committee and Board of Managers drafting and driving industry adoption through security best practices and program evolution, industry advocacy and global spokesperson while managing MasterCard’s Site Data Protection global compliance program.

Mike received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management and master’s in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from Missouri State University.  Mike is on MSU’s Executive Advisory Board for CIS and Cyber Security Master Programs. He resides in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife, Tracy (MSU alumni), and their three children.
