Biography

Chris Morris brings more than 25 years of experience leading publicly traded and privately owned multisite businesses, including over 10 years in the family entertainment business.

Chris transitioned to his current role upon completion of the merger between Dave & Buster’s and Main Event in June 2022 having served as CEO of Main Event Entertainment for over four years.

Prior to joining Main Event, Chris was President of California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina having joined the company at the time it was acquired by a private equity firm, and Chief Financial Officer of CEC Entertainment while it was a publicly traded company (NYSE: CEC).

Earlier in his career, Chris held positions of increasing responsibility at NPC International and Applebee’s International. He began his career at Deloitte.

Chris grew up in Independence, MO, earned a BS in Accounting at Missouri State University and earned an MBA from the University of Kansas. Chris has two children and lives in Dallas.
