Biography

Dr. David Meinert is Dean for the College of Business at Missouri State University, prior to serving in this role he served as an Associate Dean for nine years. Dr. Meinert has been responsible for COB executive programs, international business programs, the General Business Program on the China Campus, COB Computing, and the recent Glass Hall Renovation and Addition Project. Prior to becoming an administrator, Dr. Meinert taught a wide variety of CIS courses, including Program Design and Development, Information Systems Development, Information Systems in Business, Seminar in Computer Information Systems, and Project Management.

Professor Meinert has authored over 40 scientific articles, papers, and technical reports. His research has appeared in Journal of Applied Business Research, Information Strategy: The Executive’s Journal, Information Resources Management Journal, End User Computing Management, Focus on Change Management and Handbook of Data Management. Dr. Meinert holds a bachelor and master’s degree from Northern Michigan University, and a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Mississippi.
