Hunter Hein is President and Chief Financial Officer of O’Reilly Development Company, where he leads investment and development strategy and oversees portfolio performance across its senior living and multifamily platforms. He is responsible for structuring capital, leading underwriting and investment decisions, and managing relationships with investors, lenders, and strategic partners. He helps guide the firm’s long term growth, including development pipeline expansion, portfolio monetization, and organizational planning.
Hunter brings more than a decade of experience in investment management, capital markets,
and private real estate. Prior to joining O’Reilly Development, he was part of a Texas
based wealth management firm where he served as Vice Chair of the Investment Committee,
helping allocate more than $100 million of client equity into direct private investments
focused on real estate and infrastructure. His background includes evaluating complex
transactions, structuring investment vehicles, and aligning capital with long term
objectives.
At O’Reilly Development, Hunter oversees the full development lifecycle from initial
investment thesis through execution and disposition. He works closely with operating
partners and internal teams to drive disciplined decision making, capital efficiency,
and risk management. His approach emphasizes clear underwriting and strong outcomes
for investors while maintaining high quality communities for residents.
Hunter holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and earned a Bachelor of
Science in Finance from Missouri State University, graduating cum laude in 2017. He
serves on the advisory board for the university’s Department of Finance, Economics
and Risk Management
