Director of Operations, Jack Henry & Associates

Joel Thomas serves as Director of Operations for Jack Henry. In his current role, Joel is responsible for keeping the business aligned to strategic goals and improving performance, with a focus on business intelligence. He has dedicated responsibilities for Data Analytics, Internal Testing, Sales Contracts, Demo and Education Banks, and manages Jack Henry’s Regional User Groups, National Banking Board Meetings, and Mid-Tier Advisory Board.

Joel has 24 years of experience working with financial institutions and has held various leadership positions at Jack Henry in Implementation Services, Operations, and Marketing. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Quantitative Analysis from Missouri State University and a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing from Drury University.

An experienced board member, Joel has served on a number of local boards including American Red Cross, Cox Hospital, and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. He has also taught business-related evening classes for Drury University.
