Biography

Kevin Williams recently retired as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc., a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ stock exchange, with over 6,600 associates and over 43 locations across the United States.

Kevin was born and raised in Nevada, MO where he graduated from high school, and later graduated from Missouri Southern State University in May 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - emphasis in Accounting.

He joined the Joplin office of BKD, LLP (FORVIS) in 1987, passed the CPA exam and then was employed there until 1998. When he resigned from BKD he had risen to the level of Senior Manager. In July 1998 he went to work for one of his clients Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. in Monett, MO as their Corporate Controller and was named Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in January 2001.

During his career, Kevin was directly responsible for many areas of Jack Henry & Associates, including accounting, finance, treasury, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, tax filings, investor relations, travel and flight department.

He was voted the MSSU “Outstanding Alumni Award” recipient in 2007, and provided the commencement speech at the December 2014 graduation.

He and his wife Toni have one daughter, Tallie, and live in Springfield, MO. His family enjoys traveling and spending time together. Kevin’s hobbies include golf, snow skiing, bicycling, watching and participating in various sports. He has served on the board of several not-for-profit organizations.
