Marie Moore has over fifteen years of healthcare experience with the most recent ten years in leadership across varied roles in both nursing and hospital operations. As Chief Nursing Officer, Marie has demonstrated exceptional leadership, fostering a vision that has propelled a remarkable 20% year-over-year growth in patients served. Her unwavering commitment to excellence extends beyond the numbers, as evidenced by her successful improvement in retention and an 8% improvement in growing the workforce at the bedside.
Marie’s dynamic leadership style combines both business acumen and profound clinical knowledge, resulting in a transformative impact on healthcare at Mercy. Her clear vision has not only expanded the reach of Mercy services but has also cultivated an outstanding team dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare.
Along with being a wife, mother of three, and Chief Nursing Officer, Marie gives back to the Springfield Community by her involvement with numerous local organizations, by sitting on the boards of Mid America Transplant Services, Women of Wish for Make a Wish Foundation, and Lost and Found Grief Center.
Moore holds a bachelor’s in science of nursing as well as a master’s in healthcare administration (’15) from Missouri State University and is pursuing her fellowship with American College of Healthcare Executives.
