Marie Moore has over seventeen years of healthcare experience with the most recent twelve years in leadership across varied roles in both nursing and hospital operations. As Community President, Marie has demonstrated exceptional leadership, fostering a strategic vision across the region that has propelled a remarkable 4% year-over-year growth in operating room cases and improved EBIDA margin 75 basis points within her first year. Her unwavering commitment to excellence extends beyond the numbers, as evidenced by her successful improvement in care giver engagement as well as improved participation and positive sentiment in peakon surveys year over year.

Marie’s dynamic leadership style combines both business acumen and profound clinical knowledge, resulting in a transformative impact on healthcare at Mercy. Her clear vision has not only expanded the reach of Mercy services but has also cultivated an outstanding team dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare.

Along with being a wife, mother of three, and president, Marie gives back to the community by her volunteerism with numerous local organizations and by sitting on the boards of Mid America Transplant Services and Mercy Health Foundation.

Moore holds a bachelor’s in science of nursing as well as a master’s in healthcare administration (’15) from Missouri State University and is pursuing her fellowship with American College of Healthcare Executives.
